The International Fishing Centre was created from scratch in the eighties, by Yvette, Olivier and Michel NEUVILLE along the edges of the famous river ERNE.

It is a haven of peace, tranquillity and gentleness, deep in the heart of the country, tucked away, off the beaten track, far from traffic, and where boats have become the only means of getting from A to B.
Built on an area of about ten hectares, the facilities currently comprise 10 individual chalets, outbuildings for the convenience of anglers, a restaurant and a relaxation area.

The charming village of Belturbet, and its no less famous Pubs, is only about 3 km away and a short half-hour's walk will get you there.

This genuine paradise has not escaped the notice of either the lrish Tourist Board, which awarded it its shamrock in 1989, a sign and a guarantee of quality; or the Cavan County Enterprise Board, which, in 1997 elected the International Fishing Centre as best Specialised Tourism Enterprise and presented it with awards in recognition of this.
